Suzanne grew up in Namur Belgium and went through World War II. It was during that war at the age of 18, that she met her American husband at a dance. They married and she came to America in 1945 not knowing the English Language and only speaking and understanding French. She worked in the retail industry for a short period but was mostly a homemaker. She loved music, singing, dancing, and animals.  She involved herself deeply in the church. She belonged to the Catholic Daughters, Alter Society, worked in the gift shop, and sang in the choir. She even won the Catholic Daughter of the Year award for the year of 1988. She participated in ballroom dancing competitions, where she and her partner won many trophies. She lived in Spain and Japan as a result of being a military wife. Military life also took her to Kansas, Texas, Arkansas, and finally, Louisiana where she settled for the rest of her life. Her passion was being a mother and grandmother. She gave her entire heart and life to serving God, her family, and everyone around her. She was loved dearly and will be greatly missed by all.
