Susan Kay Woods

A Celebration of Life service for Susan Kay Woods, 62, will be at 10:30 A.M. Saturday June 7, 2014, in the Fellowship Hall of First United Methodist Church, 502 Polk Street, Mansfield, Louisiana.

Susan was born May 4, 1952, in Mansfield, La. to R. V. and Ann Jowell Woods. She went to be with her Lord on May 30, 2014, in Bossier City, La. Susan was a member of First United Methodist Church in Mansfield, La.

Preceding Susan in death were her father R. V. Woods, grandparents, Orvil and Mattie Woods, Irene Halbert Tatum, and Harold Jowell. She left behind her mother Ann Jowell Woods, sister Lauri Woods, brother Lee Woods, two nieces Stephanie DeRoche and her husband Jeremy, Megan Edel and her husband Dennis, aunt Joyce Woods Barnes and many cousins. She also had loving friends in Mansfield and at Evergreen Life Services.

Susan's favorite things in life included trips to the beach, jewelry, eating the corner off of birthday cakes, and she never came to your house without a gift in her hand.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Evergreen Life Services 2101 US 80, Haughton, La. 71037, or to the building fund at First United Methodist Church in Mansfield.
