Susan Kay Martin Deaton, age 68 was born October 25, 1951 to Edward Richard Martin and Jimmie Lee Reeves Martin and passed away peacefully on April 7, 2020 at Willis Knighton Medical Center in Bossier City, LA.
Susan was a resident of Oil City, LA, homemaker and a member of Ferry Lake Baptist Church.
Susan is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Jimmie Lee Martin. Those left to cherish her memories are her husband of 50 years, Donald Deaton of Oil City, LA; her children, David Deaton of Oil City, LA and Melissa Hossieni and husband, Daniel of Toga, LA. Susan is also survived by her brother, Dickie Martin and wife, Brenda of Shreveport, LA; her grandchildren, Justin Phillips, Tyler Phillips and D. J. Hossieni and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Due to COVID-19 pandemic, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
