Sue "Minnie" King

Shreveport, LA - Sue Wilson King passed gently into eternal rest on the morning of 27 September 2016 after a lengthy illness. Born in Spurger, TX, she was a resident of Shreveport, LA for over fifty years. She shall be forever remembered and cherished as "Nanny" to many family members and a host of family friends. She is preceded in death by her eldest daughter, Pamela Sue King Reeves; parents, Clifford and Vivian Wilson; sisters, Mary Hastings and Thelma Gazaway; brother, RL Wilson. Sue is survived by her loving children, Bruce H. King and wife, Kayla of Shreveport, LA; Douglas Wayne King of Keithville, LA; Kenneth Ray King of San Francisco, CA; Dawn M. King of Shreveport, LA; their father, Harold W. King and wife, Sandra of Logansport, LA; brother, Earl Clifford Wilson and wife, Margie of Madison, WI; grandchildren, Ryan Walther, Katie McGowan, Richard Ian Givens, Layla King, Trey King, Cameron King, Kyle King and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The family will gather for a private committal service at Pilot Knob Cemetery in Stephenville, TX. Flowers in her memory may be sent at any time to the patients of LifeCare Hospital Pierremont in Shreveport, LA.
