Sue Harper

     Sue Harper passed away peacefully on July 26, 2022.  Sue was born December 26, 1937, in Carthage, Texas to Rodney and Laureta Smith.  She enjoyed reading books and spending time with her special pet Breezy.

     Sue is survived by her sons, David and Steve Harper of Minden; Grandchildren, Daniel (Hollie), Jonathon, and Kristopher Harper and Great Grandchildren, Jonathon, Mason, and Kinzie Harper, special nieces and nephews, and many extended family members.

    Sue was preceded in death by her father and mother Rodney and Laureta Smith, her sister Pat Barr, and her brother Jimmy Smith.

    Graveside services for family and friends will be held Friday, July 29, 2022, 10:00 a.m. at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Minden, Louisiana under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden.  Officiating will be Bro. Leland Crawford.

    Pallbearers will be Bob Moorehead, Scott McCalister, Hayden McCalister, James Culpepper, Tom Belew and Andy Gilbert.

    In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Lupus Foundation and Heart Association.
