Sudie Marie Ritter

Sudie Marie Ritter was born February 13, 1937 in Carthage, TX. to Asa Lilly and Amy Harris Lilly. She passed away June 3, 2026 in Mansfield, LA.

Sudie is preceded in death by her parents, her sisters; Ethel Kyle, Essie Foster, Selma Foster, Bonnie Heard, and brother; Emmitt Lilly, her sons; Glen and Randy, and her daughter Shirley.

Left to cherish her memory are a loving host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Sudie had such a big personality and was known for her love of gardening. She took special pride in her day lilies. She also had a special love of antiques, butterflies, and collecting beautiful things for her home. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Mansfield.

A graveside service honoring Sudie will be held Monday June 8, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Highland Cemetery in Mansfield. Officiating will be Chad Hardbarger of First Baptist Church of Mansfield.
