Stephen Earle McGrath

A graveside service for Stephen Earle McGrath, 61, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 29, 2026 at Forest Park Cemetery, St. Vincent. Officiating the service will be Reverend Andrew Brewster.

He was a Kroger team member for 15 years and he spent time as a French chef in Arlington, Texas. He was an avid sports fan. He was outgoing and personable. To know him was to love him and he will be truly missed.

He is preceded in death by his father, Harry McGrath and brother, Dennis McGrath. Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Margaret “Peggy” McGrath; brother, Patrick B. McGrath longtime fiancé, Julie Pelz; aunts and uncles, Tom and Pat Long and Stephen and Janet Madden and numerous cousins and beloved friends.

For over two years, Steve was by my side rendering love and care as I battled surgeries and treatments fighting cancer. My love will forever be with you. Thank you Steve. I love you!
