Stephen "Steve" Glenn Lewis

Funeral services for Stephen “Steve” Glenn Lewis, 70, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on  Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. A visitation will be held on Monday, August 1, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Forest Park West Cemetery in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Steve was born on September 27, 1951 to Porter Brook and Ruby Laffitte Lewis in Shreveport, Louisiana and passed away Friday, July 29, 2022 in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Steve enjoyed being a plumber for over 50 years. He was a very loving husband, dad and “Pops”. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and anything to do with the outdoors. He was a Master Diver and Instructor who enjoyed scuba diving in many places from Lake Ouachita, Florida, Cozumel, Jamaica and the Bahamas. He also enjoyed his time spent as a volunteer firefighter and EMT. He was an avid sports fan, enjoyed playing with his grandson, spending time with his family and helping other people.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Joyce Canizaro and Portia Thornton.Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 39 years, Betty Lewis; daughter, Amber Johnson and husband, Kyle; grandson, Kolton Johnson and expected grandson in August 2022, Kason Johnson; brothers, Danny Lewis and Eric Lewis; sister, Wanda Williams and a host of nieces and nephews.
