Stephen Wayne Borne

Stephen Wayne Borne age 49 of Frierson, LA passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Saturday morning at MD Anderson in Houston, TX after a long term illness. Stephen was born in Shreveport, LA to Wayne and Marcia Borne. He was a graduate of Mansfield High School. His son Cody was the joy of his life. He and Cody loved doing all things outdoors; hunting together, fishing, camping and 4 wheeling. Stephen was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Keithville. Although it is hard to say goodbye to the ones we love, we have the peace of mind knowing Stephen is whole again and rejoicing in heaven. He is survived by his parents, Wayne and Marcia Borne; son, Cody; sisters, Paula (Lance) Beecher and Rebecca (Jason) Johnson; nieces, Adyson Johnson, Kayleigh Beecher and Caroline Beecher; and a nephew, Vaughn Johnson. He is also survived and loved by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and a special friend, Teresa Cooper. Visitation is scheduled at Rose-Neath South on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. and at First Baptist Church of Keithville from 12:00-1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 13, 2019 with a celebration of life at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be held at First Baptist Keithville. Pallbearers are Robert Treadway, Stephen Shaw Tingle, Jerry Wayne Neely, Jr, Vaughn Johnson, Lance Beecher and Tyler Womack.
