Zwolle, LA -Stephany Marie Butler Stutts 69, of Zwolle passed peacefully March 31, 2019 due to a lengthy illness. She was born to the late Phyllis and Ronald Butler Sr., Jan. 19, 1950, in Washington State. Stephany graduated from Wapato High School in Washington and received an LPN license from Sabine Valley Vocational Technical School in the 1980\'s. Stephany was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother. For many years Stephany worked as an LPN for Sabine Medical Center where she met and made many friends and coworkers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Phyllis and Kenneth Hall, Ronald Dean Butler Sr., one brother Ronald Dean Butler Jr., and grandparents. She is survived by her husband of 25 years Jesse Hodges Stutts, one son William Heilman Jr. (Laurie), three daughters, Teresa Tilley (Tommy), Karen Heilman Dore\', and Angela Anderson (Roy). She is survived by ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Her family will remember her sense of humor, sense of adventure, the time she went down the water slide, her loving joyful heart, her hugs and kisses and her love for books. After retiring from nursing, Stephany volunteered countless hours driving veterans to and from the veteran's hospital. She also volunteered at many of the events hosted at the local DAV.
Visitation for Mrs. Stutts will be held on Tuesday March 2, 2019 from 4 to 9 p.m. at the Kilpatrick Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Many, LA. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday March 3, 2019 at 3:30 p.m. at the Aimwell Baptist Church in Zwolle, LA with Brother Ronnie Sandifer officiating. Burial will follow in the Aimwell Cemetery. Pallbearers will be William Heilman, Jr., Jonah Powell, Quinn Tilley, Robert Barber, Walter Moss, and Lambert Powell. Honorary Pallbearers will be Roy Palmer and Stanley Keith Butler.
