Stanley Hoyt Jr., 89, of Shreveport, Louisiana passed away peacefully August 24, 2025.

Born in 1936, Stanley lived a long full life marked by love, service, and adventure. In 1963, Stanley married the love of his life, Mary, with whom he shared over five decades of marriage. Together they raised their son, Stanley Hoyt, III and built a family rooted in love, dedication, and loyalty

Stanley proudly served his country in the military carrying with him courage, discipline and devotion to duty that shaped the rest of his life.

Following in the footsteps of his father, he devoted a lifelong passion for aviation. Not only did he love flying airplanes, but he also generously shared his knowledge of teaching others how to take to the skies. He also loved playing the game of golf.

Those who knew Stanley remember his warm spirit, his fondness for a cold beer at the end of a long day, and above all, his deep love for his family. His greatest joy came from spending time with those who he loved the most.
