Simon Landry

Graveside services honoring the life of Simon Landry will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 17, 2021, at Fenders Cemetery located in Many, Louisiana with Bro. Daniel Lowe officiating. Simon was born on February 28, 1943, in Sulfur, Louisiana to Imar Landry and Jessie Mae Vincent Landry. He entered into eternal rest on September 11, 2021, in Many, Louisiana. While working and residing at The Arc of Sabine he took great pride in his job of detailing vehicles. He also enjoyed spending time with his friends and partaking in the many activities that the residents did in their spare time. He will be sadly missed by everyone that knew and loved him! He was preceded in death by his parents, Imar and Jessie (Vincent) Landry; his sisters, Joyce Ellender and Lois Dugas; and his brother, Donald "Sonny" Landry. Left behind to cherish his memory are John, Luther, Willie, Eric, Frank, Lillie, Stephanie, Chad, James, and Breanna. Honoring Simon as pallbearers will be Tim Goodwin, Wayne Martinez, James Bullard, Donald Slay, Paul Jett, and Chad Smith. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be John Celestine, Luther Wilson, Willie Turner, Eric Manning, and Frank Church. He is loved dearly by friends at Edwin R.
