Funeral services for Shirley M. Wimberly will be held Saturday January 16, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden, Louisiana with Rev. Roddy Shaffer officiating. Interment will follow at Wimberly Cemetery in Ringgold, Louisiana. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Friday, January 15, 2021 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana. Shirley was born November 22, 1926 in Minden, Louisiana and entered into rest January 12, 2021 in Minden, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elton Lewell Wimberly; sisters, Georgia Mae Turner and Eula Youngblood; brothers, Henry Lee Morgan, John Phineas Morgan, and Calvin Morgan. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Galicia, Mary Shaffer (Rodney), Cherie "Pippy" Toney (Ron), and Shirlene Frasier, and grandchildren, Dana Gonzalez, Rena Ryan, James McCoy, Joey Redding, Roddy Shaffer, Denny Shaffer, Dustin Shaffer, Kristi Shaffer, David Cockrell, Jr., Tommy Cockrell, Brian Frasier, C.J. Frasier, and Kemmerly "Valen" Frasier, and 35 great-grandchildren and 18 great great-grandchildren. The family extends a special thank to Passages Hospice for the care given their mother.
