Shirley Kathleen Shepherd

A “Celebration of Life” Memorial Service for Shirley Kathleen Shepherd, 89, will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Officiating the service will be Lewis P. Waldron, Jr.

Shirley was born on January 5, 1936, in Ray, Ohio to Earl T. Graves and Zelda Mae Graves and passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2025, in Shreveport. Shirley was a resident of Keithville, Louisiana. She spent her working career as a nursing assistant at the Northwest Developmental Center.

Shirley is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Lewis P. Waldron, Sr. and Glen R. Shepherd; grandson, James A. Waldron; and 12 siblings. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Lewis P. Waldron, Jr. and wife, Carolyn, James T. Waldron and wife, Vickie, Kimberly J. Chambless and husband, Mark; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. 

Shirley will be terribly missed but we will always love and cherish her memory.
