Graveside services celebrating the life of Mrs. Shirley Ann Downs Meshell, 71, of Zwolle, LA will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at 2:00 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery with Bro. Nick Remedies officiating. A visitation will be held for her at Kilpatrick's Rose-Neath Many Chapel from 9:00AM-1:30PM before her service. Shirley was born January 10, 1950 in Converse, LA to Francis Julie (Parrie) Downs and Lonnie Downs and she entered into rest on May 7, 2021 at her residence in Zwolle, LA. Preceding her in death were her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Lonnie Downs; her grandparents, Clarence & Mack Parrie; her husband, Charles W. Meshell; and her brother-in-law, Don Henderson. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Timothy Downs & wife, Andrea of Zwolle, LA; her daughter, Leloni Sepulvado & husband, Joseph of Zwolle, LA; her step daughters, Annette Sepulvado of Zwolle, LA, Rhonda Meshell of Zwolle, LA, Robbie Sepulvado & Anthony (Snake) of Zwolle, LA, and Debbie Sepulvado & husband, Freddie of Zwolle, LA; hers sisters, Deborah Henderson of Zwolle, LA, Brenda Schieffler & husband, Burt of Shreveport, LA; and her brother, Coach Glenn Parrie & wife, Susie of Benton, LA. She also leaves behind her 5 grandchildren, and her companion and special friend, Charlie, her puppy; along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives. Honoring her as pallbearers will be Marc McGee, Nik McGee, Kohlman McGee, Jeremy Wilkerson, Riley Downs, and Luke Sepulvado.
