Shirley Elizabeth McCoy

Shirley was born in Coushatta to her parents, Edna Mae Loftin and Joseph Porter Loftin. She entered into rest in Shreveport, surrounded by her loved ones. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Mike McCoy; brother, Gary Loftin; grandson, Jeremy Copeland, and her aunt, Betty Jean Thomas who was more like a sister to her. She is survived by her son, Brian and wife D. McCoy; her life partner, Gene Gorman; granddaughter, Paige and husband Tony Salas; grandsons, Blaine McCoy (Madison Parks), Chase and wife Sumar Coleman, Jay Bulloch, TJ and wife Amber Coleman; great-grandchildren, Gabby, Taydan, Grayson, Saylor, and Canyon. Services will be Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at 12:30 p.m. at Living Word, 440 Hwy 531, Minden, LA with Paige Salas and Trey Waller officiating. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory in Minden, Louisiana under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden. Visitation will be Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. until service time. Pallbearers will be Jay Bulloch, Tony Salas, Brandon Anders, Chase Coleman, Jay Maniscalco, and Michael Levsque. Honorary pallbearer will be Billy Gorman.
