A Graveside Service for Sherry Carline Holler, 83, will be held on Friday, August 28, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Forest Park West Cemetery, 4000 Meriwether Rd. in Shreveport, Louisiana. A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr. in Shreveport.

Sherry was born November 18, 1942, in Shreveport to Oscar Carl Waites and Pearlie Samantha Humphrey Waites and passed away on Monday, August 24, 2026 in Shreveport.

Sherry was a proud graduate of C.E. Byrd High School and Draughan Business College. She was married to the love of her life, Charlie Holler, for 50 wonderful years until his passing in 2023. Sherry began her career in the insurance industry, where she established and managed the Assigned Risk Department at Aetna, and continued working in the field until her retirement.

In her spare time, Sherry enjoyed reading and cross-stitching, but her greatest joy was always her family. Family was at the heart of everything she did, and she cherished every moment spent with those she loved. She was truly all about family—365 days a year. Her love, devotion, and unwavering presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Sherry is preceded in death by her parents, O.C. and Pearlie Waites; and her husband, Charlie Holler. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Karen Hendricks and husband, Tim, Pam Skinner; son, Bill Holler and wife, Donya; stepdaughters, Becky Divine and partner, Gina, Gail Victoria and her husband, Steve; grandchildren, Ben Hendricks, Sherry Hendricks, Nathan Skinner, Kera Gray and husband, Jerrad, Hunter Holler, Tristen Holler, Maddux Holler; great-grandchild, Draven Gray; and best friend, Judy McDaniel.

Honoring Sherry as pallbearers will be Jerrad Gray, Hunter Holler, Tristen Holler, and Maddux Holler. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Ben Hendricks and Nathan Skinner.

The family would like to thank Christus Hospice/Grace Home nursing staff, Allison and Sam, for all the loving care and compassion they gave to Sherry.

The family suggests that memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Caddo Parish Volunteers for Youth Justice.
