Sherry Jo Cannon

Sherry Jo Cannon was born October 10, 1955 in Monroe, Louisiana, and left her earthly home to join one of her best friends, Anita Littleton in the arms of Jesus on October 11, 2022.

Sherry lived a simple life, spending her time putting together puzzles for herself and her brother, Ricky, to place on their walls. She also enjoyed spending time with her church friends and of course being with her family. She was a beloved sister, mother, grandmother, and her favorite title was that of great-grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Rudy D. Cannon; parents, Ridder Ellerbe and Thelma Dekle Ellerbe; sisters, Mary Jordan and Patricia Wyatt and brother, Henry Ellerbe.

Sherry is survived by her children, daughter, Rhonda Perry (Kenneth); sons, Randy Littleton, and Jerry Tanner; grandchildren, Stephanie Aucoin (Tyler), Sarah Jeselink (Devin), and Kayden Littleton; great-grandchildren, Naythan Kern, Joseph Kern, Asher Hicks, and Shiloh Jeselink. In addition, she leaves behind her siblings, Wiley Curtis Ellerbe (Patsy), Royce Dean Ellerbe, Aquila Marie Ellerbe, Ricky Alvin Ellerbe, and Rebecca Ann Ellerbe; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other family. She is also survived by her very best friends, Peggy Hicks, Josh Smith, and Mona Dodd.

A service is pending to honor her life and legacy.
