Sheila Marie George

A graveside service for Sheila Marie George, 79, will be held on Monday, September 30, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Flatwoods Cemetery in Flatwoods, Louisiana. A visitation will be held Sunday, September 29, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 9891 Texas Hwy, Many, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Roland George.

Sheila was born on December 14, 1944 to Bud Trouquille and Willie Mae Basco in Alexandria, Louisiana and passed away on September 26, 2024 in Many, Louisiana.

Sheila was preceded in death by her husband, Edward George; parents, Bud Trouquille and Willie Mae Basco Trouquille; brother, James Troquille; sister, Fern Troquille; and son, Tony Lynn George. She is survived by her sons, Troy George and wife, Connie, of Many, Louisiana and Edward George of Many, Louisiana; daughters, Marilyn Kilgore and husband, Kurt, of Zwolle, Louisiana; grandkids, Brett Daniels (Kayla), Nick George (Cassie), Brooke Remedies (Anthony), Josh George (Chelsi), Jody Daniels (Kristin), and Breanne George; great-grandkids, Willow, Shiloh, Shelby, Mallory, Colton, Carter, Trevor, Kolston, Carson, Kynzleigh, Cadence, Cayden, Caydelyn, Cadelei, Cole, Ariel, Liza, and Ryleigh.

Honoring Sheila as pallbearers will be Edward George, Troy George, John Powell, Anthony Remedies, Cayden Remedies, and Jimmy Troquille. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Kurt Kilgore and Carter George.
