Sharon Watson Pippin, 73, passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2021 in Bossier City, Louisiana. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Hurricane Cemetery, LA Hwy. 519, Arcadia, Louisiana. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 5, 2021 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Drive, Bossier City, Louisiana.
Sharon was born July 13, 1947 in Minden, Louisiana to Ruey and Lorene Nicholson Watson. She graduated in 1965 from Woodlawn High School in Shreveport, Louisiana. She met the love of her life, Charles Pippin, and in 1972, they were married. Sharon has one son, Kevin Farmer.
Sharon loved spending time outdoors. Everytime she had the opportunity, you could find her on her party barge fishing. At home she enjoyed working in her flower garden, spending time with family, especially her grandchildren who were the light of her life. Of course, if she could cook and have the family over that was even better.
Sharon is preceded in death by her parents and husband. She is survived by her son, Kevin Farmer and wife, Sabrina; sister, Freida Roblow and husband, Billy; grandchildren, Alyssa Farmer, Chase Farmer, Seth Farmer, Ariel Shepherd and husband, Tristan, Jessie Ellison; great grandson, in Elijah Farmer; a host of nieces and nephews; and one very special uncle, Farrell Watson.
