Sharon Lynn Lopez

A funeral service for Sharon Lynn Lopez, age 62, of Bunkie, Louisiana, will be held on Monday, April 15, 2024, beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of Rose-Neath Funeral Home located at 334 Acton Road in Marksville. 

Sharon Lynn Lopez entered into rest on April 8, 2024. She was born on March 2, 1962, in Chicago Illinois to James and Shirley Trojan. 

Sharon was an amazing Mother, sister, aunt and grandmother. She enjoyed spending quality time with her family and friends and never missed an opportunity to make someone smile. Her favorite past time was making chunky blankets and gifting them to her loved ones, as she coveted this hobby and preferred to share it with some of her favorite people. Sharon will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of every person she has touched throughout her life. 

Mrs. Lopez was preceded in death by her mother, Shirely Trojan; father, James Trojan; sisters, Marie Frances Trojan, Frances Ann Trojan, and Rebecca Sue Tabor. 

Those left to cherish her memory are her Husband, Glenn Lopez, Sr. of Alexandria, LA; three sons, Glenn Lopez, Jr. (Tati Lopez) of Clarksville, TN; Ryan Lopez of Marksville, LA; and Eloy Lopez of Bunkie, LA. Three daughters, Cassandra Lopez (Daniel Lopez) of Bunkie, LA; Brittany Lopez (Zach Gallimore) of Makenzie, TN; and Katie Lopez of Houston, TX. Three sisters, Debra O’brien (Butch O’brien) of Homer Glen, IL; Trina Trojan of Lockport, IL and Kimberly Tabor (John Tabor) of Makenzie, TN. Eleven grandchildren: Miguel, Cecelia, Maya, Hailey, Emillio, Xavier, Alice, Ben, Mallory, Sofie, and Lorenzo. One great grandchild, Miguel Lopez, Jr. One bonus granddaughter, Breanna Cloud of Bunkie, LA., as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and beloved friend, Mark Walker of Las Vegas, NV. 

A visitation will be held on Monday, April 15, 2024, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Marksville at 2:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. Visitation will continue until 8:00 p.m. that evening.
