Sharmaine Marie Breland

A celebration of life for Sharmaine Breland will be held on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at Kilpatrick’s Rose-Neath Funeral Home located at 334 Acton Road in Marksville, beginning at 3:00 p.m. with a graveside service following at St. Joseph Cemetery number 2, located at 1271 South Washington St. in Marksville.

            A visitation will be held at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Marksville, on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, beginning at 8:00 a.m., until time of service at 3:00 p.m.

            Sharmaine Breland, age 70, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2023. She was born on January 21, 1953, in Alexandria, Louisiana, to Ransdell St. Romain and Jenny Lee Briggs.

            Sharmaine was preceded in death by her parents, Ransdell St. Romain and Jenny Lee Briggs and husband, Thomas Breland, Sr.

            Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Thomas Breland, Jr. (Kimberly) of Hessmer, La. and Clifton Breland (Amber) of Deville, La.; daughter, Rebecca Dupont (Michael) of Goudeau, La.; brothers, Cody St. Romain (Paulette) of Gonzales, La., and Thomas St. Romain (Brenda) of Marksville, La., as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Kilpatrick’s Rose-Neath Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
