Shannon Lynn Estes

Shannon Lynn Estes, age 50, of Coushatta, Louisiana, passed away on September 21, 2025. She was born on March 24, 1975, in Shreveport, Louisiana, to Jackie and Kathy Goldsby.

Shannon was preceded in death by her father, Jackie Goldsby, and grandparents, Eugene and Lexie Goldsby. Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Kathy Goldsby; spouse, Kevin Cannon; son, Joshua Estes (Amanda); daughter, Lauren Elizabeth Custis (Drake); sister, Lisa Busby (Mark); brother, Thomas Goldsby (Jennifer); grandchildren, Raleigh, Paisley, and Landry Estes; nieces and nephews, Josey Goldsby, Tabitha Goldsby, Kade Busby, and Mark Busby, Jr. (Lainey); and great niece and nephew, Paisley and Briggs Busby.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, located at 943 Polk St., Mansfield, Louisiana 71052. Funeral services celebrating Shannon’s life will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at the funeral home, with Bro. Rickey Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Allen Cemetery in Mansfield. Honoring Shannon as pallbearers will be Thomas Goldsby, Joshua Estes, Steve Estes, Mark Busby, Kade Busby, and Robert Watson.
