Shannon Nell Bailey

Memorial funeral services were held for Shannon Davis Bailey, 50, at the Chapel of Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 405 E. 5th St. in Homer Saturday, March 20, 2014 at 2 pm with Rev. R. B. Moore, officiating. The family received friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 12:30 till service time. Shannon was born August 2, 1963 in Arcadia to James Wesley Davis and Lacy Rowell Davis. The passed away on Wednesday, March 26th at her home following a lengthy illness. Shannon was a past employee of Farm Bureau, Ludlow and for the past 7 years with Fred Smith and Sons in Homer. She loved planting flowers and building flower beds, riding and taking road trips on the motorcycle and shopping. Shannon was preceded in death by her mother, Lacy Rowell Davis. She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Jerry Bailey; her father, James W. Davis; sone, Reed Bailey, all of Arcadia; daughter, Ryan Sanders and husband, Clint of Homer; brother, Terry Davis and wife, Betty of Minden; two grandchildren, Riley and Harper Sanders. Pallbearer was Randy Poole. For friends considering memorials honoring Shannon, her family suggests the American Cancer Society or St Jude.
