Shane Harris

Billy Shane Harris, 49, of Dubberly, Louisiana was born February 22, 1974, in Shreveport, Louisiana and entered rest May 21, 2023, in Dubberly, Louisiana. Billy was employed with Bayou Swabbing. He loved spending time with his family, helping others, fishing, gardening, and working on small engines. Shane also loved hunting and taught all of his children to hunt, fish and take care of all animals.

He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Ray Harris, grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Harris and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Shelley, and uncles Rick Shelley and Edd McDowell.

He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Harris, mother, Rebecca Shelley, stepmother, Sandy Harris, children, Austin Shane Harris(Sarah) of MS, Austin Bradley of Shreveport, Reegan Harris of Doyline, Blake Bradley of Dubberly, Brody Harris of Haughton, and Raleah Harris of Dubberly, brothers, Justin Harris Simons (Brad) of FL, Casey Harris of Minden, stepbrothers, Mark Doyle and Danny Doyle, stepsister, Shaunda Hammons (Marty) of Minden, proud grandad to Evelyn Renee Harris, his sleeping buddy, “His Dog” Tank, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins, and a host of friends and co-workers along with numerous hunting dogs he loved dearly.

A visitation for Billy will be held Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden, Louisiana from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m.
