Funeral services for Setsuko "Nori" Herren will be held Monday, March 18, 2019 at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Doyline, Louisiana with Rev. Paul Pearson officiating. Interment will follow at Doyline Cemetery in Doyline, Louisiana under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Sunday, March 17, 2019 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden.
Nori was born August 15, 1938 in Okinawa, Japan and entered into rest March 14, 2019 in Bossier City, Louisiana. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church in Doyline and served in the nursery for over 28 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Ronny J. Herren.
She is survived by her son, Richard Herren and wife Tracy of Haughton, daughters, Judy Mitchell and husband Rick and Jennifer Igo and husband Carey all of Haughton, grandchildren, Brandon, Heather, Patrick, Summer, Chaz, Samuel, and Kaeleigh, and great-grandchildren, Ella, Jackson, and Layton.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Mitchell, Patrick Mitchell, Chaz Igo, Samuel Herren, Matt Valentine, and Alex Skalski.
