Savannah Cheri Cummings

A memorial service for Savannah Cheri Cummings, 32, will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Dr., Bossier City, Louisiana. A visitation will follow. Officiating the service will be Reverend Andrew Brewster.

Savannah was born on April 13, 1993, to Cheri Cummings and Robert Cummings in Shreveport, Louisiana, and passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2025, in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Savannah was a beautiful free spirit, someone who embraced life with warmth, kindness, and a deep love for those around her. She was the kind of person who made every moment meaningful—whether it was sharing laughter with friends, spending time with family, or simply enjoying a quiet evening with a good book.

Her passions were woven into the way she lived. She found joy in reading, watching movies, fishing, camping, music, and good food shared with good company. Every gathering was brighter because of her presence, and every conversation was made richer by her thoughtful nature. She had a way of putting others first, always thinking of how she could bring happiness to the people she cared about.

More than anything, Savannah was a wonderful mother, daughter, and friend. She lifted others up, stood by them in hard times, and loved with her whole heart. Her absence leaves a space that cannot be filled, but her spirit—her love, her laughter, her kindness—will continue to shine through the memories she gave to those who loved her.

Savannah was preceded in death by her grandparents. She is survived by her mother, Cheri Cummings; daughter, Felicia Iris Posey; brother, Cornealius Wilkins; grandmother, Elizabeth Cummings, along with her aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family and friends.
