Surrounded by love, Sarah Collins Trickett of Shreveport, Louisiana, passed away on January 16, 2026, at the age of 40, following brief medical complications. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and deep devotion to her family and friends. Her passing has created an ache in the hearts of all who knew her, but her beautiful spirit will forever live on in the countless lives she touched.
Born on January 4, 1986, to Mark and Becky Snider Collins of Haynesville, Louisiana, Sarah was a devoted wife, daughter, sister, and friend. She was a 2004 graduate of Claiborne Academy and a 2008 graduate of Bossier Parish Community College, carrying with her throughout her life the same warmth and kindness so many remember from her childhood.
For 13 wonderful years, Sarah was the loving and devoted wife of Jon Daniel Trickett. Their marriage was a true partnership filled with laughter, faith, and unwavering love. Sarah had the sweetest smile that could light up any room, and her joyful spirit made everyone feel welcome and valued. She was a proud dog mom to Jax, Rex, and Roux, who held a special place in her heart.
Sarah was so festive and truly loved all Louisiana traditions. She never missed an opportunity to celebrate, decorate, and gather the people she loved. She had a deep passion for serving others and found great joy in doing thoughtful things for family and friends. Whether gathered around a table, celebrating special moments, or traveling to new places together, Sarah cherished time spent with those closest to her.
Creative and talented, Sarah had a gift for capturing life’s sweetest moments through photography. She enjoyed all forms of arts and crafts and, in recent months, found a new and comforting joy in needlepointing. When Sarah loved something, she loved with her whole heart, and that wholehearted love will be her lasting legacy.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Becky Snider Collins and her grandparents, James and Gwen Collins, and Clarence and Verna Snider.
She is survived by her husband, Jon Daniel Trickett; her father, Mark Collins; her sister, Hillary Gray and husband, Billy; her in-laws, Bill and Bambi Trickett; her sister-in-law, Sarah McKinnie and husband, Cory; her nieces, Brantley Gray, Harper Lillie McKinnie, and Ella Rose McKinnie; and her nephew, Lane Gray. She also leaves behind a host of extended family members and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.
