Sarah Louise Carter Wooley

A funeral service celebrating the life of Sarah Louise Carter Wooley, 71, will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at Family Worship Center in 330 Sandy Point Road, Campti, LA 71411, with Sister Linda Chance and Brother Ford Pickering officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Highway 9, in Creston, LAiwa==. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at the church. The services will be under the direction of Kilpatrick’s Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Coushatta.

Sarah was born on July 1, 1952, in Natchitoches Parish, LA to Owen and Emma Hale Carter and passed away August 12, 2023, in Saline, LA. She enjoyed spending time with God on her John Deere tractor and in her deer stand.

Sarah was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Bobby Ray Wooley. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Lonnie Savell and husband, Wayne; grandchildren, Kassidy Doss and husband, Dylan, Aaron Savell and girlfriend, Bronte and Shelby Savell and fiancé, Ryan Tutor; great-grandchildren, Teegan, Eliza, and Fletcher; special friend, Terri Scott; and special thanks to sitters, Rose Warren and Tina Terrance.

Honoring Sarah as pallbearers will be Jason Corbitt, Cliff Layman, Sean Bandaries, Mark Walker, Bobby Moore and Cody Moore.
