Samuel Harrison Woodall

A funeral service honoring the life of Samuel Harrison Woodall, 83, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 22, 2021 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home- Southside in Shreveport, Louisiana. A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until service time. Officiating will be Reverend Delbert Terry. Samuel was born to David Harrison Woodall and Mae Wiggins Woodall on March 21, 1938 and entered into eternal death on November 18, 2021 in Bossier City, Louisiana. Samuel was a resident of Shreveport, Louisiana and worked for Pennzoil gas for many years. In his younger years, Samuel attended Byrd High School and later went on to serve his country in the Navy. He was an active member of the American Legion. In his free time, Samuel enjoyed fishing, motorcycle riding, and spending time with his family. He was a special soul who will be dearly missed. Samuel is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Frankie Butler; son, Roy Woodall and his grandson Jason Brown. Left to cherish his memory are his brothers, Jimmy Woodall and Benny Woodall; daughter, Rhonda Brown and husband, D.J.; granddaughters, Leah, Ashley, and Kayla; his special friend, June Lewis, and a host of other friends and family.
