Sammy Lynn Cobbs

Funeral services honoring the life of Sammy Lynn Cobbs will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Rev. David Hill with Rev. Rick Martinez assisting. Interment will be held at Spring Ridge Cemetery located in Pleasant Hill, Louisiana. A visitation with the family will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, September 13, 2021, at the funeral home. Sammy was born on October 6, 1983, in Shreveport, Louisiana to Tommy Lynn Cobbs and Shirley Anette Neal Cobbs. He entered into eternal rest on September 4, 2021, in Branson, Missouri. He is preceded by his brother, T-Bo Cobbs; paternal grandfather, Willie Cobbs; and maternal grandparents, Shirley and Coonie Neal. Left behind to cherish his memory are his parents, Tommy Lynn and Anette Cobbs of Forsyth, MO; fiancé, Pamela Smith of Forsyth, MO; paternal grandmother, Bertha Stevens and husband Dalton of Pleasant Hill, LA; stepdaughter to-be, Katherine Smith; stepson to-be, Tanner Smith; niece, Katie Cobbs; nephew, Kyndel Cobbs; along with his fur babies, Scooter and Ms. Puppy. Honoring Sammy as pallbearers will be Chris Tarver, Jody Maroney, Nicholus Brian, Sedric Stewart, Grant Neal, Ryan Neal, Kinneth Murray, and Jody Free. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Butch Rains and Ricky Joe Lemoine. GEAUX TIGERS!
