| BOSSIER CITY, LA - Sam A. Sardisco, 91, of Shreveport, Louisiana passed away surrounded by family and friends on Tuesday, September 18, 2018. Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 21, 2018, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton where he was a member followed by a funeral mass at 11:00. Interment will follow at Forest Park Cemetery. Sam was born in Bossier City, LA to Biaggio Salvatore and Rosalie Modica Sardisco on November 6, 1926. He was the oldest son of seven children and worked in the family business until he joined the Army. Following military service, he owned and operated many convenience stores and a well- respected businessman in the community. Sam had a generous heart and lived by the moto "The customer is always first." No child or family went hungry when Sam was around. Sam was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years Camille LaLena Sardisco and five of his six siblings. Sam is survived by daughters, Rosalyn Sardisco Rose of Dallas, TX and Renee Sardisco Wood of Shreveport, LA, six grandchildren and spouses and five great grandchildren.
