Graveside services for Sallie Thomas will be held Thursday, January 27, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Minden, Louisiana with John Michael Acklen officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana. Sallie was born September 22, 1942, in Haynesville, Louisiana and entered into rest January 22, 2022, in Minden, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her husband Glenn Thomas. She is survived by her children, Steven Thomas and wife Renee, Timothy Thomas and wife Jenifer, and Meloney Druenet Thomas all of Minden; sister Kathie Salbury of Homer; brothers, Ronnie Acklen, David Acklen, John Acklen, and Richard Acklen all of Minden; grandchildren, Blake Thomas and Crystal, April and Steve Thomas, Jr.; and nine great-grandchildren.
