Ruth Ann Walden

Scotty Walden (ne Ruth Ann Scott), 69, of Haughton, Louisiana died on April 5, 2021. Daughter of Clifford and Willie-Mae (ne Green) Scott, her family is vast and has many branches. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 9, 2021 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Drive, Bossier City, Louisiana. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Her nephew T.J. Lewis will be officiating.   She is survived by her husband Jerry Walden; her children, Kelly Ford, Tina Yin, Billy Jackson, and J.D. Walden; and her siblings, Karla Bertrand, Karen Scott Crews, Richard Scott, and Ponto Scott.   Scotty was a proud United States Marine Corps Veteran, Semper Fi. She traveled far and wide both in life and fiction, always preferring the path less traveled by, and that made all the difference. She now roams free in the land of adventure and fantasy so often preferred through her greatest love of all: Books.
