Ruth Brown

A graveside for Ruth Shumway Brown will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Rose-Neath Cemetery. Officiating will be Dee Adams. Ruth was born July 28, 1949 in Baltimore, MD to Hyrum and Sarah Shumway and passed away May 22, 2018 in Bossier City, LA. She was a homemaker and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Her parents and a sister, Joan Erickson preceded her in death. Ruth is survived by her husband, James C. Brown, Jr.; sisters, Susan Connell, Sondra Bennion, Gloria Milmont, Mary Halsey, Elizabeth Smith and a brother, Joseph Bagley Shumway.
