Converse, LA- Funeral services honoring the life of Ruby Cathryn Patrick, 93, will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 2, 2020 at Fellowship Baptist Church in Converse, LA with Reverend Ronnie Sandifer officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Converse, LA. A visitation with the family will be held at the church on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until service time. Cathryn was born on November 14, 1926 in Sabine Parish, LA to Gladys Earl Jr. and Ruby Mae Fleming. She entered into rest on January 31, 2020 in Converse, LA. She is preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Roy M. Patrick; son, Roy. E Patrick and daughter-in-law, Joy M. Patrick; parents, and two brothers, Walter Earl (Bob) Fleming and Ruby Thomas (Tommy) Fleming. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Bobby C. Patrick and wife Cheryl, Ralph G. Patrick and wife Mary Sue, Edwin Paul Patrick and wife Deborah, and Alan Keith Patrick and wife Sandra; daughter-in-law, Jerri Patrick; ten grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. Honoring Mrs. Patrick as pallbearers will be Christopher Patrick, Jonathan Patrick, Steven Lee, Adam Baker, Earl Wayne Fleming, Walter Litton, Tommy Raimond, Larry Patrick, Sonny Shoalmire & Chris Friday. The family suggests that memorials be made to Fellowship Baptist Church in Converse, 124 Fellowship Circle, Converse, LA 71419.
