In Rozell’s early life, she enjoyed sewing and was a meticulous seamstress, making clothes for herself, her three boys and then her granddaughters. Later in life, especially during their retirement years, Rozell and Grady loved to travel and traveled extensively in their motor home. They visited every continental state in the United States plus Alaska, Canada and Mexico. And in her own words, “I have finally made my final trip, across the River Jordan.” This was a trip she had been planning her entire life. God rest her soul. Rozell was a devout Christian woman spending her entire life as a Southern Baptist. She and Grady were long time members of Sunset Acres Baptist Church in Shreveport, LA, then Cypress Baptist Church in Benton, LA and then Brookwood Baptist Church in Shreveport, LA.

Rozell spent the last five years and eight months in Robstown, Texas where she was surrounded by love and laughter.

We would like to thank Angel Bright Hospice in Corpus Christi who helped with her care the last year and a half.
