He confessed Christ at an early age under the leadership of Pastor Larry Shephard at the St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church where he served on the Usher Board. Roy was united in Holy Matrimony to La'Sheika Davis for 22 years. God blessed their union with an amazing son, Xavier Davis. Roy graduated from Fair Park High School with the highest honors and was an excellent violinist. Roy attended Southern University where he received his associate degree in Electronics Technology. Roy utilized his degree by becoming Peaceful Rest Missionary Baptist Church soundman where he served under the leadership of Pastor R. Timothy Jones for over 12 years. If you knew Roy, you knew he loved the Dallas Cowboys, star gazing with his son, watching his favorite movies and shows, listening to music, and spending time with his family. A man of few words but, Roy touched so many lives and will be truly missed. Roy played a wonderful and important role in the MLK Center Lighthouse Program under the leadership of former Shreveport Mayor Cedric Glover. He later went on to work for Conduent (Apple) as a Technical Support Advisor where he played a major part in giving great technical support until he became ill, and was called home to God, our most high heavenly father. He leaves here on earth to cherish his memories, his loving wife, La'Sheika Falcon Davis; one amazing son, Xavier Davis; one beautiful sister, Latrice Davis; his awesome father, Roy W. Davis, Sr.; nephews, Kartez Davis, Skylar Campbell, Jordan and Jayden Sims, Gabriel Johnson, II; one niece, Genesis Johnson; God mom, Kasandra Green, God siblings, Jonathan and Melissa Green; father and mother in loves, Rev.
