Roy was born January 31, 1964 in Shreveport, Louisiana and entered into rest April 22, 2019 in Sibley, Louisiana. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alton and Bernice Stephens and sisters, Sheila Hood and Kay Hull. He is survived by his uncle, Marston Stephens of Bossier City, siblings, Gary Stephens of Bossier City, Patsy Gilliland of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Tommie Morgan of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Ginger Watson of Pensacola, Florida, nephews, Gary Stephens, Jr., Dusty Gilliland, Casey Stephens, Josh Merritt, and Jeremiah Sanderson, nieces, Shannon Toney, April Merritt, and Tiffany Sanderson and many great nephews, nieces, and cousins.
