Roy Clifton Champion

A graveside service to celebrate the life of Roy Clifton Champion, 76, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, June 15, 2023, at Rose-Neath Cemetery, 5185 Swan Lake Spur, Bossier City, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Bishop Justin McCabe.

Roy was born July 19, 1946, in Shreveport, Louisiana to Raymond Monroe Champion, Sr., and Olive Roberta Jennings Champion. He passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2023, in Bossier City, Louisiana.

Roy traveled a lot with his father who was in the United States Air Force. He lived in Benton for most of his adult life. He loved to write poetry. Roy is going to be greatly missed by all.   

Roy is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Raymond Monroe Champion, Jr. He is survived by his sister, Rae Carol Pait and husband, Eugene A. Pait, Sr., and Betty Gene Paskett and husband, David G. Paskett.
