Roslyn "Ronnie" Burton

Shreveport, LA - Services for Roslyn "Ronnie" Burton will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Rose-Neath Bossier Chapel. Officiating will be Timothy Gibbs. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, December 7, 2018 at Rose-Neath Bossier. Ronnie was born November 25, 1943 in Shreveport and passed away December 3, 2018 in Shreveport. She attended St. Pius X Catholic Church. Ronnie retired from the Caddo Parish School as a teacher. She was preceded in death by her husband, Coach Jerry Burton; father, John Alan Suggs and niece, Melissa Reeves. Ronnie is survived by her mother, Cora Suggs Browning of Shreveport; children, Kellie Burton Tullis of Shreveport, Shannon Burton Clark of Shreveport, David "Chip" Burton of Shreveport; sister, Charlee Suggs Reeves of Shreveport; grandchildren, Cody Gibbs, Dakota Craig, Brock Bonds and wife, Hannah, Drake Burton, Colby Burton; great grandchildren, Holland Claire Bonds, Hallie Mae Bonds; nieces, Misty Reeves Pea and nephews, David Wiggs and Robert Wiggs.
