Funeral services was held for Rose Marie Basco, age 82, at St. Margaret Catholic Church in Homer, LA, on Thursday, January 4, 2023, at 1:00 p.m., Father Nicolas Duncan, officiated.  Interment followed at Sharon Cemetery near Sharon, LA.

Rose was born April 22, 1941, in Natchitoches, LA, to Mary Vercher Basco and Richard C. Basco, Sr. She entered into rest on December 29, 2023, in Homer, LA.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her two sisters, Margaret Basco and Laura Clements both of Homer, LA; two brothers, Allen Basco and wife Judy of Keatchie, LA and Richard C. Basco, JR, and spouse Cathy of Shreveport, LA; and numerous nieces, nephew, other relatives and friends.
