Funeral services for Ronnie Rylane Davis, 62, will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 1815 Marshall St., Shreveport, Louisiana. A visitation will be held immediately following from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Ronnie was born on December 23, 1959, in Shreveport, Louisiana to Joe Davis and Zelma Jean Applebaum and passed away on Wednesday morning, February 23, 2022, in Shreveport.
Ronnie was a master dart thrower in the B.A.D.D. league and a male stripper! He loved the lake, playing pranks as well as pool and softball. He was a Golden Gloves Boxer heading to the 1982 Olympic Team. Needless to say..anything Ronnie did he always strived to be the best!
Ronnie always had the desire to become a Knights Templar! On November 29, 2021, he made the vow to become an Armiger Knight. He was so happy to renew his Catholic faith in such an amazing way. As a Templar, you are a soldier for Christ, defender of the weak and pro-lifer. Ronnie was prepared to fight and defend these things and more.
Ronnie Davis was always the life of the party and enjoyed living life to the fullest! Above all, Ronnie cherished his family and friends and would do anything for them at any time. To his wife Rebecca, he was her best friend and everything beautiful in this world.
Ronnie is preceded in death by his grandparents, Alice and Jaymes Davis; mom, Zelma Jean Applebaum; and brother Michael Applebaum. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 29 years Rebecca Davis; sons, Corey Davis and Tristan Davis; daughters, April Hurd, and Kylie Davis; granddaughters, Kaylyn Davis and Calleigh Hurd ; grandsons, Ian Maddox and Liam Hurd.
There will never be anyone like Ronnie Rylane Davis, he was truly heaven sent and is now living the good life with the good Lord.
