Funeral services for Ronnie Wayne Kent, 36, will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will be held at Bethel Primitive Baptist Cemetery. Officiating the service will be Pastor Eddie Kent and Pastor Tim Dye.

Ronnie was born on November 17, 1989 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Timothy W. Kent and Carol Kent and passed away Monday, May 11, 2026 in Shreveport, Louisiana.

He achieved many different licenses as a technician at AIM of Louisiana. He just received his high school degree online. He loved anything to do with the outdoors and enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a great guy who would do anything for anyone and was truly loved by so many.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Marvin Thomas Kent, Murline Ebarb Kent, Harry Pemberton and Joyce Apple and uncles, Michael Kent and Ronnie Pemberton. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Jennifer Kent; children, Jayden Kent, Journee Harkey and Jordan Harkey; parents, Timothy W. Kent and Carol Kent; brother, Marvin Kent; sisters, Christy Murphy and husband, David and Stephanie Gorbert and husband, Steve and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and multiple other family members and friends.

Honoring Ronnie as pallbearers will be Marvin Kent, David Murphy, Duke Little, Paul Lindsey, Mike Bowen and Donavan Rachal.
