Ronald "Ronnie" Patrick Watson

A Memorial Service to celebrate the life of Ronald “Ronnie” Patrick Watson, 85, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 14, 2023, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Drive, Bossier City, Louisiana.

Ronnie was born July 16, 1937, in Coushatta, Louisiana, to Albert “Red” Watson and Curdice Allen Watson, and he passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, in Bossier City, Louisiana.

Ronnie loved his work as a welder for Riley Beard and worked for them for 42 years. When he wasn’t working, he was fishing.

Ronnie is preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Ann Stolze. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Alyne Watson; daughter, Teresa Raley and husband, Earl Raley, Jr.; grandson, Zach Raley and wife, Lauren; and great-grandchildren, Jackson, Ella, and Collin.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105.
