Ronald Gene Morgan

Ronald Gene Morgan, 74, was born December 22, 1946 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Joe Junior Morgan and Norma Jean Morgan and passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 in Shreveport, Louisiana. A memorial will be held in Chelsea, Oklahoma in the spring at a later date. Ronald was a resident of Shreveport and enjoyed playing golf. He was in the manufacturing home business for 43 years. He served in the National Guard Reserves. He loved his seven beautiful grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them and his entire family. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother Tommy Joe Morgan; and grandson, Travis Joe Morgan, Jr. Left to cherish his memory is the love of his life, his wife of 43 years, Donna Morgan; brother Gary Morgan and wife, Marilyn of Enid, Oklahoma; sister-in-law, Kerry Ann Morgan Riley of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; children, Travis Joe Morgan and Amelia of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Matthew Morgan of Wyoming, Jason Morgan and wife, Isabell of Austin, Texas, Taylor Morgan of Shreveport, Louisiana, and Stephanie Morgan of Shreveport, Louisiana. The family would like to thank the staff of Willis-Knighton Pierremont and Roseview for the excellent care and compassion shown to Ronald during his illness. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Ronald's name to the American Cancer Society or the charity of the donor's choice.
