Funeral services honoring the life of Roger Dale "RD" Winfree, 70 , will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 943 Polk St., Mansfield, Louisiana. Burial will follow at Converse Cemetery in Converse, Louisiana. A visitation will be held Saturday, September 25, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. until service time. Officiating the service will be Reverend Jimmy Price and Reverend David Scott. Roger Dale was born on July 28, 1951 to Winnie Lee Shoalmire in Converse, Louisiana and entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, September 23, 2021 in Mansfield, Louisiana. Roger Dale "RD" Winfree was a resident of Converse, Louisiana and worked as a carpenter for many years of his life. Most days, when the weather was nice, you could find him in a boat Fishing, as that was his favorite pastime. Roger Dale also enjoyed hunting, and spending time with his loving friends and family. Roger Dale Winfree was preceded in death by his parents, Winnie Shoalmire and Dan Winfree; wife, Sandra Shaw Winfree; son, Jamie Glenn Winfree, and grandson, Allen Lee Winfree. He is survived by his brother, Curtis Winfree and wife, Gayle and Floyd Winfree and wife, Juneau; his sons, Johnny Lynn Winfree and wife, Kimberly, Justin Allen Winfree and wife, Angela, Josh Winfree and wife, Terri, and Jordon Lee Winfree and wife, Reanna and a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Honoring RD as pallbearers will be Bryan Malcolm "Mack" Winfree, Brody James Winfree, Dalton Kane Winfree, Nathan Scott Winfree, Tyler Reid Vickers, and Jared James Townsend. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Vickers, Barry Vickers, Richard Shaw, and Julian Cloud.
