Robin Ilene Green

Robin Ilene Pickett Green, 66, of Coushatta, Louisiana, went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 18, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on March 25, 1959, in Shreveport, Louisiana, to Lloyd Ray “Spy” Pickett and Carmen Pickett.

Robin lived a life that was vibrant, fearless, and overflowing with love. To know her was to experience joy in its purest form. She had an infectious, unmistakable laugh — the kind that filled a room and pulled everyone into the moment with her. She loved life deeply and lived it boldly. No adventure was too big, no gathering too small, no opportunity for a good story ever wasted. If it ended in laughter and a memory to retell, Robin was all in.

Her greatest love, however, was her family. She poured herself into her people — her husband, her children, her grandchildren, her siblings, and her many extended family members. Whether she was celebrating milestones, showing up for ballgames, sharing meals, or simply sitting and talking, she made everyone feel seen, valued, and deeply loved. Family was her heartbeat.

Robin faithfully served her community as a Deputy Clerk at the Red River Clerk of Court, where she worked with dedication and integrity. She was also a member of Martin Baptist Church, where her faith was steady and sure. She trusted the Lord fully, and that faith carried her through every season of life.

She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Reggie Lynn Green; her daughter, Sonia Green Giddens and husband Clint Giddens; her son, Brandon Lynn Green and wife Summar Green.

She leaves behind a legacy of joy through her grandchildren: Katelynn Giddens and future grandson-in-law Kendall Cotita, and future great-granddaughter Cayleigh Cotita; Kelsey Terry and grandson-in-law Payton Terry; Kassidy Lilly and grandson-in-law Jake Lilly; Rowdy Lynn Green; and Rip Lane Green.

She is also survived by her brother, Dewayne Pickett and wife Patricia Pickett; sister, Dianne Cannon and husband Bobby; sister-in-law Linda Pickett; brother-in-law Larry Lockey; brother-in-law Ronnie Green and wife Nancy Green; along with a great number of nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and a host of cherished friends.

Robin was preceded in death by her mother, Carmen Pickett; her father, Lloyd Ray “Spy” Pickett; her sister, Anita Pickett Lockey; her brothers, Douglas Ray Pickett, Darrell Wayne Pickett, Roger Dale Pickett, and Ricky Len “Pero” Pickett.

While her family grieves deeply, they rejoice knowing she is healed, whole, and home in Heaven. Her laughter echoes in their memories, her stories live on around every table, and her love will continue through generations.

Pallbearers will be Dustin Pickett, Chris Possoit, Andrew Benoit-Naquin, and David Jones. Honorary pallbearers will be Jake Lilly, Payton Terry, Kendall Cotita, and Clint Giddens.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., at Martin Baptist Church, 3191 LA-507, Coushatta, LA 71019, followed by funeral services at 11:00 a.m.

Robin lived fully, loved fiercely, laughed loudly, and leaves behind a legacy that will never fade.
