Robert Wayne Mize

Robert Wayne Mize, 52, was born on December 2, 1968 in Texarkana, Texas to John and Sally Mize and passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2021 in Shreveport, Louisiana. He is now at peace with his Lord and Savior. Robert attended Southwood High School and went to work as a heavy machine operator and later as a truck driver. He was always up to helping a friend in need, giving them a hard time the entire time. He loved making people laugh and was quite the jokester. Aside from being funny, he was a very hard working man that loved his family and friends. He will be greatly missed. He is preceded in death by his father, John Mize; grandfather, John Dean Mize; and grandmother, Aline Mize. Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Sally Houston; sisters, Sheila Brown, and Tammy Rivers and husband, Tim; niece, Samantha Brown; and nephew, John (Chuckie) Hawthorne; and three great-nephews. A memorial will be held for Robert at a later date.
