Robert E. Stoneking II

Funeral services for Robert E. (Stoney) Stoneking will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. with visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. Officiating will be A.J. Rayner. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Minden, Louisiana with military honors.

Robert was born January 2, 1955, in Germany and went to be with the Lord on October 22, 2025, in Shreveport, Louisiana He served his country in the United States Army from 1974-1977. He was awarded the National Defense Service medal and good conduct medal. Robert loved spending time with his beloved wife Sherry, his kids and grandkids, who knew him as Papooh. He loved to hunt, fish, and shop. He never met a stranger! He would carry on a lengthy conversation with anyone who crossed his path.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Joye Stoneking, and sisters, Beth Sanders and Roberta Miller.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Sherry Stoneking of Minden, (2) special men he considered sons, Zachary McIntyre of Minden, and Lance Streetman and wife Rachel of Minden, daughters, Cassidy Drake of Minden, and Kemmerly Thomas and husband Joel of Dubberly, sister, Jeanette Dunmire of South Carolina, grandchildren, Sophia Humphreys, Grayson Beene, Diesel Beene, Riley Streetman, Alyssa Streetman, and Dakota Streetman, his beloved dog, Angel, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Zachary McIntyre, Grayson Beene, Diesel Beene, Lance Streetman, Riley Streetman, and Aaron Cole.

Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Drake, Buddy Edwards, and David Bailey.

Family and friends will meet at Pine Grove Methodist Church following the graveside.
